Kuwait to Ban Trans Fatty Acids in Food Products

Starting from May 2025 the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition has decided to implement hydrogenated fats regulation that aims to eliminate trans fatty acids from food products. This regulation affect food factories relying on trans fats, such as those producing potato chips and various baked goods. It will not affect restaurants who are using vegetable oils.
