The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) issued the Notice of Administration Order of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority Ref. No. 9063 dated 31 August 2025 entitled "Temporary ban on importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Buenos Aires in Argentina".


The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) has subsequently issued the Notice Administrative Order No. 14729 dated 7 October 2025, lifting the temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat, eggs and their products originating from Buenos Aires in Argentina, based on the WOAH report dated 29 September 2025, indicating that Buenos Aires in Argentina is free from Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Virus (HPAI).
