Ministerial Decision No.1 of 2025 ‘Adopting of Gulf Standards as UAE Standard Specifications’

Adoption 538 Gulf standard specifications, listed by title and number in Table No. (1) attached to this decision, have been officially adopted as UAE standard specifications across various sectors. Additionally, the following standard specification has been cancelled: UAE.S GSO 2598:2021 – Determination of Ethanol in Nutritional Products


The adopted standards include the following:


  • UAE.S GSO 1377:2024 – Gruyère Cheese
  • UAE.S GSO 2604:2024 – Guideline on Displaying Calorie Information on Menus of Food Establishments Selling Food for Off-Premises Consumption
  • UAE.S GSO 2749:2024 – Labelling of Prepackaged Fruits and Vegetables
  • UAE.S GSO 2750:2024 – Nutritional Labelling Guide for Prepackaged Food Products
  • UAE.S GSO 2751:2024 – Traffic Light Nutrition Labelling
