New Restrictions on Selling Milk-Substitute Powder

The JFDA issued this circular in response to complaints about these products being packaged and displayed in ways that mislead consumers, which can lead to negative health and nutritional impacts, particularly for children and the elderly. Consequently, the JFDA has prohibited the trading of these products in packaging similar to milk containers and has banned them from being displayed in the milk sections of local markets.
