The Turkish Food Codex Regulation on Microbiological Criteria, which was notified through G/SPS/N/TUR/132 (10 January 2023), was now adopted and published in the Official Gazette dated 13 February 2025 and numbered 32812.Indicator microorganisms such as Enterobacteriaceae, E. coli in some product groups in the notified draft regulation were removed and pathogenic microorganisms such as Salmonella, E. coli O157, L. monocytogenes were added instead.
