Circular about Banning the Use of E171 in Foodstuffs

Qatar published a circular about the ban of the use of E171 (Titanium dioxide) in all foodstuffs.

The deadline for local and imported products is now October 15, 2022, after which it will not be allowed to import or locally produce any product that contains E171.

Moreover, products already in the Qatari market that contain E171, have to be removed by this specific date.
