Guide to procedures for transparency and disclosure of financial support provided by medical and food companies

The guide aims to achieve the following:

1 - Regulating and clarifying the financial relationships between medical or food companies, health care professionals and health care institutions, and limiting the possibility of illegal or immoral financial relationships.

2 - Increasing the level of transparency in research funding (raising the level of transparency in all procedures related to the health field).

3- Protecting the rights of patients and beneficiaries, by ensuring the integrity of medical decisions based on scientific and professional grounds.

4- Reducing the possibility of conflict of interest when taking decisions related to organizational matters.

5- Documenting data of direct and indirect financial support provided by medical and food companies.

6 - Ensuring compliance with the system of trading breast milk substitutes and its implementing regulations issued by Royal Decree No. M/49 and the relevant issued regulations and decisions.
