Municipal Minister Decision No. (143) for the year 2022 on the Regulations for the Use of Plastic Bags

Institutions, companies, and shopping centres are prohibited from using single-use plastic bags in packing, packaging, presenting, circulating, carrying, or transporting products and goods of all kinds.
Replaced with single-use plastic bags, multi-use plastic bags, biodegradable plastic bags, paper or “woven” bags, and other biodegradable materials.
The plastic bags, according to their category, are printed with a symbol indicating that they are biodegradable, reusable or recyclable.
