SFDA.FD 55:2021 Food Supplements

This technical regulation draft is concerned with all packaged nutritional supplements intended to enhance one or more specific nutrients in the diet. Food supplements may contain vitamins, minerals, or other substances with nutritional or physiological effect, including but not limited to fatty acids, amino acids, enzymes, Beneficial bacteria, prebiotics and probiotics, collagen, dietary fibre, melatonin, propolis, pollen, herbal or herbal extracts and others.

Purpose:

Addition of the following packaging forms: capsules, tablets and pills.
