The Amman Chamber of Commerce received a letter from the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the State of Qatar, dated 2/19/2024, which included informing us about the decision of the Qatari Ministry of Health to determine the list of foods that are prohibited from being imported into the State of Qatar, whether the ban is temporary or permanent, except under specific conditions, as the Their import depends on fulfilling special precautionary conditions and procedures, which is the necessity of attaching the consignments with a certificate of conformity issued by one of the companies approved by the Ministry as a third party for prior inspection of the consignments in the country of origin. This is a precautionary measure to ensure that the limits of pesticide residues conform to the requirements.
