 Circular
Date of Publishing: 07/03/2026                   Affected Region: Jordan

The Prime Minister of Jordan has issued a circular (Decision No. 7388) addressed to the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply regarding containerized imports. Following a cabinet meeting on March 4, 2026, the government decided to suspend the 1978 regulation that restricted container imports exclusively to the Port of Aqaba.

This suspension is effective for six months starting March 5, 2026, and allows urgent container shipments to enter the Kingdom via land border crossings. The measure is intended to ensure the steady flow of goods into Jordan until regional conditions stabilize. Contact us for more details.
